Simple Usage Example

# Save the current user CUPS client settings.
$ cups-client-mgr save default
saved profile "default"

# Configure new client settings.
$ vim ~/.cups/client.conf

# Save the new background settings.
$ cups-client-mgr save office
saved profile "office"

#List saved states.
$ cups-client-mgr list
office
default

# Restore the original settings.
$ cups-client-mgr load default
loaded state "default"

cups-client-mgr - save and restore cups-client states

USAGE
  cups-client-mgr [statedir <path>] <save|load|delete|rename> <state name> [<state name>]
  cups-client-mgr [purge|list|where|help]

  If <state name> is '?zenity?', then zenity will be used to prompt for the state name.

  statedir <path>
    Select the state directory to use.

  save <state name>
    Save the current cups-client state.
    Previous saved states with the same name will be overwritten.

  load <state name>
    Load a saved cups-client state.
    Loading a state while an application is running may cause it to crash.

  delete <state name>
    Delete a saved cups-client state.

  delete <old state name> <new state name>
    Rename a saved cups-client state.

  purge
    Delete all saved states.
    This can be useful when switching equalizer plugins.

  list
    List the saved states.

  where
    Show the path to the current state directory.

  help
    Display this help message and exit.
